BioLog7™ technology from Triton offers you the opportunity to utilize a proprietary and patented technology. Composed of innovative, unique, and non-corrosive Hydronium based acid and Hydroxyl based alkaline solution, comes a product that that is non-caustic to skin, eyes and mucus membranes. The chemistries are non-corrosive and demonstrate properties never before observed with other conventional chemistries.

What does this mean for you? One example is that BioLog7™ has 10,000 times greater killing power than popular commercially available products such as Clorox and Lysol that have kill rates of 99.9%. Yes, 10,000 times greater killing power yet Biolog7™ is harmless to the environment and humans.

Equally as important, BioLog7™ kills microorganisms on contact. Conversely, leading Antibacterial cleaners kills 99.9% of germs. The cleaners on the market today only are effective when applied wet to a previously cleaned surface, and remains wet for 30 seconds to five minutes and then are neutralized.

With FDA and EPA approved additives, BioLog7™ disinfectant solutions will produce excellent instant and long lasting anti-bacterial protection for extended periods of time.

When diluted the BioLog7™ disinfectant solution is put on a hard surface it will attack any bacteria, virus, or mold present and will not create detrimental effects to the surfaces including human skin and mucus membranes.

Effectiveness
The BioLog7™ product achieves in excess of a 6-log reduction in microorganism (bacteria, viruses, fungus, etc.) growth, meaning that out of 1 million microorganisms, less than 2 microorganisms survived treatment in testing. Stating it another way, the products kill 99.99997% of all microorganisms.

How does it work?
Most bacteria and viruses have an outer protection coating of a cellulose type material. Cellulose contains a considerable amount of water. BioLog7™ contains a very dehydrating molecule and has the ability to remove water from the outer protective coating and attacks the mitochondria through its semi-permeable membrane resulting in destruction of the microbe.

When BioLog7™ is applied to pathogenic microbes it quickly over powers the internal pH level allowing the H3O to attack the mitochondria causing rapid death of the microbe. When sufficient BioLog7 is present, the outer coating will also decompose. In some bacteria that contain toxins, such as E-coli, BioLog7™ will attack and destroy these toxins by chemical decomposition. The 3-H3O’s created by the natural decomposition of the BioLog7™ will eventually find free hydroxide ions from the air, water or surrounding materials and decompose into two (2) water molecules, (1-H3O = OH + 2-H2O). This decomposition leaves no residual hazardous chemical residue.

Why is it unique?
The basis for these revolutionary products is a patented stabilization process, which enables the isolation of Hydronium and Hydroxide, the ions that determine the pH of acids and bases. While the powerful disinfectant properties of acids and bases have long been known, their commercial use has always been limited by their high corrosivity and toxicity.

The pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution (7 is neutral, less than 7 is acidic and greater than 7 is alkaline). Microorganisms and pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites grow and survive best in neutral environments, at a pH ranging between 6 and 7.5 (with 7.0 being completely neutral). Most microorganisms cannot survive at pH levels below 4 or above 9.5. By isolating Hydronium and Hydroxide, Triton creates stable solutions with pH levels at or around 0 and at or around 14. This is far beyond the range in which bacteria and other pathogens can survive. However, because this process separates out the caustic and toxic minerals and salts normally found in acids and bases (such as chlorine, ethanol and potassium), these products maintain the antimicrobial properties of acids and bases without the corrosivity and toxicity associated with them.
